The men in my fam have always enjoyed Jello, so I've made this treat for years, doubling the recipe. There are only 3 ingredients! Sweet!
Lemony Simply Delicious - 2 servings
Ingredients:
(1) pkg. small box Lemon flavored Jello Gelatin
(1) Cup Vanilla Ice Cream
(1) Cup boiling water
Method:
- Boil 1 Cup cold water.
- Place contents of 1 small pkg. Lemon flavored Jello Gelatin in medium sized bowl.
- Pour in hot water and stir well to dissolve gelatin.
- Add 1 Cup Vanilla Ice Cream to bowl.
- Whisk or stir well until ice cream melts.
- Pour into 2 dessert dishes or mugs.
- Refrigerate several hours.
- Serve with whipped Cream.
Looking out my window today the purple Hyacinths are beginning to blossom. Ohhh, I'll be looking for the Black Raspberry ice cream in my freezer and Raspberry gelatin in my pantry. :)
Enjoy!
Yummy!
Happy Easter!!!

Thank you for sharing you lovely flowers JG and that recipe i used to make so often when my boys were growing. Will be making this one again; I forgot all about it.
Very pretty flowers! I whip up some cream cheese and add it to the hot jello and it rises to the top. I make it with sugar free so it's really a treat I can eat and enjoy! I want to try your recipe now! ♥
This look like a nice light and easy dessert- the best kind. What beautiful flowers. I'm ready for Spring!
Love the hyacinths, we have some in our front yard and I know it's spring the minute I see them start to show! So pretty! Dessert does sound simply delicious!
Sounds like a Jello I would love too.
Rita- Our sons all enjoyed this easy yummy dessert! :) It was a nice surprise in the fridge.
Lavender Dreamer- Sounds so good! Does your dessert look like the advertised Jell-O Temptations?
ann- It is a light dessert. Lemon flavored is my substitute for Lemon Meringue Pie and Lime flavored - Key Lime Pie. :)
Carol- It's great to look outside and see the spring flowers.
Barbara Bakes- This is one of our faves!
It really does sound delicious. I hope you have a wonderful Easter holiday. Blessings...Mary
