WooHoo!!! Now my DH and I know how dependent we are on electricity! The nor'easter slammed into Western MA and our power was out for 6 days. We are thankful for the hard working men/women from all over our country who are helping our state. We have power back on our street!

11/8 - Update: Yesterday AM (11/7) our Internet + t.v. service was restored! My son and his gf welcomed us back to the 21st century and to the internet!

That's a LONG time! I'm glad you are safe and sound...hope you have a good weekend and stay warm! ♥♥♥
I was talking to my sister in law a few days ago and she had no power since Saturday. I must call her back and see if she ok.

-L.D.- Thank you!!!! Very Thankful! Very scary night on the 29th. Leaves still all on trees and heavy snow caused limbs to break and crash down on everything, including taking down poles. Still no Internet or t.v. Sitting at Friendly's having breakfast and using iPad. :)
-Rita- I hope she is o.k. Also!

Mercy! Glad you are ok. Did you stay in your house all that time?
I guess we had a few earthquakes here but we've been out of town and missed it. That's ok!
~Stacey- We did stay in our home as did our neighbors. Hotels have generators all booked for miles. No electricity, but did have heat - our very old heating system allowed us to reverse the water flow that flows through our baseboard heating system without using power. We have a gas stove, so used top of stove. Learned to love instant coffee! Our instant hot water system was powered by our neighbors' generator for showers. Threw away all foods in fridge & freezer.
About 1 hour ago internet & t.v. restored. Another "WooHoo" moment!

Wow - sorry to hear you were cut off from power for so long. Glad you were OK during the storm.
A Spoonful of Sugar- Thanks! We are very thankful!
